What team do you currently work in?

I currently work in the SEO team for Mojo Mortgages.

Which teams have you worked in previously?

None, this is my first rotation.

What is your favourite thing about the RVU Grad Program?

Being able to be part of three different teams before graduating lets you develop all the skills you need to hit the ground running in whatever you decide your permanent role will be in the future. You’re introduced to all the different departments within the company, meaning you’ll be able to make an informed decision before deciding where to rotate next.

What is your advice to someone applying to join the RVU Grad Program?

Get to know what all the departments do no matter your first rotation so you have a clear idea of where to rotate next. There are a lot of different teams so it might take a bit of time to understand how they all work together.

What is your favourite thing about the RVU Grad programme?

My favourite thing about the RVU Grad programme is the flexibility of the scheme - and how much RVU values my preferences into where I would like to work next! I also thoroughly enjoy working with my colleagues, especially fellow Grad Scheme members.

What is your advice to someone applying to join the RVU Grad programme?

My advice is to understand the way in which RVU is able to generate revenue while empowering consumers to make confident decisions and make money. Have a basic understanding of our business model and the products that we offer across our different brands.

I currently work in Uswitch as an Analyst on the Mobiles team

Which teams have you worked in previously?

I previously worked on Paid Media for Money.co.uk, and in the Product team for Uswitch

What is your favourite thing about the RVU Grad programme?

I love that you get the chance to experience completely different areas of the business, and are given the opportunity to create real impact unlike anywhere else. You’ll be able to learn so much over the course of the programme from across RVU, and from Day 1 have something to show for it that you’d never think possible for someone so early in their career.

What is your advice to someone applying to join the RVU Grad programme?

Be yourself! I mean this literally when I say everyone is so nice at RVU, and it makes for an amazing place to learn and grow. Throw yourself in, show your personality, be prepared to constantly learn from those around you, and you’ll have an amazing start to your career at RVU.

What team do you currently work in?

After 2 years on the graduate scheme, I’m now 6 months into my full time role as product manager for our mobiles vertical at Uswitch.

Which teams have you worked in previously?

I began as a product executive in what was our broadband and mobile product team, and then rotated to own our paid search account for mobiles.

What is your favourite thing about the RVU Grad programme?

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the incredible responsibility, and opportunity to work with others of all seniority levels. The result of this has been a rapid career progression that I could have never imagined before joining RVU. Beyond that, it's been a huge amount of fun to see our graduate scheme grow and make incredible friendships within the programme and with other colleagues at RVU.

What is your advice to someone applying to join the RVU Grad programme?

I recommend reaching out to one of us to learn more about the programme, ask any questions you may have and understand if RVU is a good cultural fit for you. This will not only help you understand who we are and what we’re looking for, but will demonstrate your interest and passion to join. We’re a unique, fast moving, incredibly hard-working and fun bunch to work with. Hope to hear from you soon!

What team do you currently work in?

I currently work in the Paid Media team, managing the Google Ads account for Mobile.

What is your favourite thing about the RVU Grad programme?

My favourite thing about the RVU Grad Programme is how much autonomy and ownership you have over the work you are doing - it’s really exciting to feel that you are a valuable member of the business so early on. I also really like the flexible approach to rotations; rather than a rigid structure that has to be followed by everyone, you have more of a say in your rotations, taking into account where your interests and skills lie.

What is your advice to someone applying to join the RVU Grad programme?

Take time to find out as much as you can about RVU - where it started, the different businesses, the goals and culture - so you have a basic understanding of the business and can start to figure out if it’s the right fit for you. I would also advise you to be yourself and be open minded through the application process!

What is your favourite thing about the RVU Grad programme?

My favourite thing about the RVU Graduate Programme is the hands-on learning experience that I am getting through my role. I appreciate the RVU culture, as well as the support and trust from my colleagues to lead projects, conduct presentations and take part in initiatives outside of my role.

What is your advice to someone applying to join the RVU Grad programme?

My key piece of advice is to learn and understand how RVU operates as a business, alongside the values that RVU stands for. RVU’s mission, ‘Empowering people to make confident decisions’ is embedded in our culture and everyday work, thus it is important that this aligns with you!
